200 Market St. New Albany, OH 43054
I aim to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere! We will walk around a little bit, talk, and let your kiddos play! They will definitely get wet! I want your kids to interact- hugs, tickles, and laughter! I will offer gentle posing and allow your little ones to play around within that and be themselves! I am not providing props, but you’re welcome to bring a couple small things of your own if you’d like a little basket/bucket/stool for a kiddo, etc.) These are only 15 minutes long max- short, sweet, and FUN!
Rose Run is a gorgeous little gem in New Albany! There is a beautiful bridge, trees, natural playground, and of course- a gorgeous creek! Obviously we will be spending most/all of our time at the creek area. The address I have given above is actually for the library. I suggest following your GPS to it, and then parking behind the library. There are several large parking lots that are free to use, so head to the parking lots on your right side, behind the library, way to the back by the bridge and you can't miss it! We may be walking around when you arrive, so best if you spot my car first and wait for us there! I will be in a black Nissan Sentra. Please text me if there are any issues.
Hopefully we get a gorgeous day! But if the forecast is bad enough I will contact you each individually and reschedule with each of you. If the forecast is spotty- I will be there! It will be up to you if you want to keep your time slot or reschedule. I try to wait until the evening/morning before to make any decisions- you never know with Ohio weather, after all!
Your $100 deposit holds your time slot and is non-refundable. The remaining $200 balance is due at the time of your session. I accept cash, check, Venmo (@heyemilymetcalf) or Zelle (614-648-1994). Checks are payable to Emily Metcalf. Your images will be ready within about 2-3 weeks of your session. I promise to try to get them back to you all as soon as I can! Galleries will be sent via an online gallery right to your email! From there you will be able to download, print, and share as you please!
We will definitely be splashing around a bit and getting wet! If you have some neutral sandals/shoes you don't mind getting in the water, it might me a good idea to wear them to help prevent anyone slipping accidentally. However, barefoot should be fine, too. Please reach out if you would like more tips or advice- I would love to help!
