August Mini Sessions
Where: Alum Creek State Park Beach

Cost: $300 total; $100 to book, $200 due the day of
What to expect:
I aim to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere! The goal of these is very candid. We will walk around a little bit, talk, and let your kiddos play! I want your family to interact- talking, hugs, tickles, and laughter! Piggy back rides, ring around the rosy, dancing, etc.! I will offer gentle posing and allow your family to play around within that and be yourselves! I am not providing props, but you’re welcome to bring a couple small things of your own if you’d like, such as sunglasses or fun beach towels! These are only 20 minutes long- short, sweet, and FUN! These sessions are scheduled back to back, so please be very diligent about your arrival time! Thank you!
Location:
Alum Creek Beach is so pretty! I will be shooting your family in the sand, with the water and a tree line in the back! When you arrive, you will pull into the first parking lot on your left and you should see me/my car! There are restrooms nearby I believe. There are a couple playgrounds right near where we are, so something to keep in mind! If your child will struggle with that, maybe use it as a fun thing to do after photos in exchange for cooperation!
Weather:
Hopefully we get a gorgeous day! But if the forecast is bad enough I will contact you each individually and reschedule with each of you. If the forecast is spotty- I will be there! It will be up to you if you want to keep your time slot or reschedule. I try to wait until the morning of/night before the minis to make any decisions- you never know with Ohio weather, after all!
Process:
Your $100 deposit holds your time slot and is non-refundable. The remaining $200 balance is due at the time of your session. I accept cash, check, Venmo (@heyemilymetcalf) or Zelle (614-648-1994). Checks are payable to Emily Metcalf. Your images will be ready within about 2-3 weeks of your session. I really appreciate your patience! I promise to get them back to you all as soon as I can. Galleries will be sent via an online gallery right to your email! From there you will be able to download, print, and share as you please!

Outfit Tip:
These have the potential to be a bit messy- sand and water! SO please keep your outfits appropriate for the setting. Nothing too formal! Also PLEASE consider wearing a lot of COLOR! Everything around us is extremely neutral and soft, but we will have a LOT of sunlight. Warm and vibrant colors will photograph SO beautifully in this setting and with the type of light we will have. If you want to bring a beach towel or colorful blanket for some sitting poses you are welcome to! But please expect to have some sandy toes or bums from sitting/running around in the sand, and for you to possibly get splashed by a kid or two!haha TEXT ME if you want any help at all with outfits for these- I love this part of my job!!!
